Job summary

Peel Ports Group at the Port of Liverpool seeks a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term basis. You will operate the weighbridge and SCADA system to ensure accurate weighings and safe, compliant site operations, coordinating with engineers and operations teams.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and proficient IT skills. You will support vessel handling, storage coordination and timely reporting to the Shift Supervisor, with benefits including flexible options.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a weighbridge and providing administration support in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of bulk handling methods is advantageous.
• Experience with site safety and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and manage ticket processing to SOPs.
• Maintain traffic management and safe site operation.
• Communicate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels.
• Coordinate storage activities and monitor vehicle turnaround times.
• Report delays to the Shift Supervisor and support continuous improvement.
