Job summary

Haven is seeking an Activities & Pool Manager in the United Kingdom to lead a dynamic team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee service delivery, training, and performance, while managing schedules and budgets to ensure smooth operations by the pool and activity areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leadership roles within sports, leisure or hospitality.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to leisure facilities.
• Experience budgeting and managing resources for a team operation.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• PPO and SPTO certificates preferred but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: lead, motivate and support the team to deliver excellent service and hit targets.
• Guest Experience: ensure guest satisfaction and a welcoming, high-quality atmosphere.
• Performance Management: monitor performance, provide coaching and conduct reviews.
• Resource Management: schedule staffing, manage budgets and resources efficiently.
• Compliance and Safety: ensure operations meet health and safety regulations and policies.
• Problem Solving: quickly resolve operational issues and maintain smooth daily running.
• Training and Development: support team growth through ongoing training and mentoring.
