Job description

Our client based in Newcastle are looking for a Plasma Operator to join an expanding team on a permanent basis.

Responsible for the safe day to day running of an allocated machine and to ensure that all manufacturing targets are achieved.

Package

Salary between £28,450 and £29,990

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 until 16:45

Pension

Match up to 6%

Production Bonus

Up to £360 per quarter

Holidays

25 days plus bank holidays

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure all plasma cutting is carried out on time
• Ensure all profiles are of good quality to the internal / external customer
• To support and supply both internal and external customer base
• Implement and sustain 5S standards, with a target of 12+
• Achieve efficiency levels to 95% target
• Carry out all duties with due diligence.
• Carry out all duties within H&S guidelines.
• Help and support trainees and new starters.
• Complete any other duties as requested
