We are seeking a proactive and analytical professional Planning Manager to support the Head of Department in delivering high quality planning, analysis and operational insight. This role will play a key part in driving business improvement, supporting cross-functional initiatives and contributing to strategic projects that enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate forecasting and planning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities.
  • Support the Head of Department with strategic and operational tasks, including data analysis, scenario modelling, and ad-hoc project work.
  • Utilize various systems and tools to maintain data accuracy, monitor exceptions, and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Review key performance metrics, identify variances or issues, and recommend effective solutions to improve performance.
  • Manage, support, or coordinate departmental projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Coach and develop team members, providing guidance to enhance capabilities and ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on KPIs such as availability, stock cover, and forecast performance.
