Town Planner

Location: Hunstanton

The Role

As a Town Planner, you will assist with a range of planning work including applications, appeals, appraisals, and policy research. You will work closely with senior planners and surveyors, gaining exposure to all stages of the planning process and taking on more responsibility as you progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
  • Carrying out site appraisals and planning research
  • Drafting planning statements and supporting documentation
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Attending site visits and public consultation activities when required
  • Supporting senior colleagues in delivering high-quality planning advice
About You

We are looking for a motivated Town Planner who is keen to grow within a consultancy environment.

Requirements
  • RTPI-accredited degree or postgraduate qualification
  • MRTPI or actively working towards chartership
  • Relevant years' planning experience (consultancy or local authority)
  • Good understanding of UK planning policy and development management
  • Strong written, verbal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
