A leading construction services firm is looking for a Senior Planner to join their Nuclear Major Projects team in Bridgwater, England. The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing large complex projects, specifically involving reinforced concrete and MEP installations. Required skills include Primavera and NEC contract knowledge. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a major energy project, emphasizing rigorous planning and subcontractor management. Candidates must undergo security checks and are expected to support diversity initiatives.
Kier are currently involved in a major energy project in the South West (Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater in Somerset), delivering reinforced concrete, bulk earthworks and infrastructure on one of the UK's largest projects . We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our team, you will need to have experience working on large complex projects like we have at Hinkley. MEP experience, knowledge of RIBA design process and management of subcontractor programmes would be an advantage. You will have Primavera experience and any 4D Planning experience., As SeniorPlanner, you'll be working within the Nuclear Major Projects team, supporting in a major energy project delivering nuclear grade reinforced concrete and infrastructure on one of the UK's largest projects. You would ideally have experience in installation of mechanical, electrical and fitout of RC frame buildings, alongside a thorough understanding of the NEC contract environment. Management of subcontractors and merging and auditing of subcontractor programmes will be an advantage.
