Job summary

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pipe Layer to join our growing team in London N18. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe systems.

Responsibilities

• Lay, connect, and repair pipes for water, drainage, gas, and other systems
• Prepare trenches and excavation sites, ensuring correct alignment and gradient.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other trades on site.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Report any issues, delays, or hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Cross residential and commercial projects. This is a physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, technical skill, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipe Layer or similar role.
• Knowledge of pipe-laying techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations (CSCS card preferred).
• Reliable and punctual, available Monday to Saturday (Sunday optional)
