The W. G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center is looking for a Physician (Otolaryngology) position in Salisbury, NC. The Otolaryngologist functions under the overall management of the ACOS of Surgery. The physician functions within an interdisciplinary staff consisting of physicians, physician extenders, technicians, administrative and clerical staff.
ENT Physicians are required to be familiar with the concepts, tools, and technology within the field of Otolaryngology. Otolaryngology or ENT (ear, nose, and throat) is the branch of medicine and surgery that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the head and neck. Otolaryngologist functions under the overall management of the Associated Chief of Staff Surgery (ACOS). The physician functions within an interdisciplinary staff consisting of physicians, physician extenders, technicians, administrative and clerical staff. He/she is responsible and accountable for ensuring the provision of comprehensive surgical/clinical services and complies with established policies within the Department of Surgery/Otolaryngology section.
