A healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Phlebotomist responsible for performing blood collection procedures and managing patient information. Candidates need a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification if hired after 2012. The role includes maintaining work areas, organizing workloads, and preparing specimens for testing. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Responsible for performing all forms of phlebotomy procedures including registration on any age level, processing specimens to ensure stability, performing order entry procedures to ensure accuracy of patient/testing information, and providing all laboratory results to providers.
