In this role, you will support the safe and effective use of medicines across the practice by working closely with our clinical pharmacists, GPs, nurses and wider MDT. Your work will help ensure smooth, accurate and efficient medicines processes, supporting both patients and clinicians. You will assist with medicines‑related queries, help optimise repeat prescribing systems, and contribute to timely medicines reconciliation. You will also support medication reviews within your scope, promote good medicines management, and help identify opportunities to improve safety and reduce risk.
The role offers a mix of patient‑facing and administrative duties, giving you the chance to work directly with patients while also improving practice systems behind the scenes. You will be involved in quality improvement work, contribute to audits, and support the development of good prescribing practice. This is a varied and rewarding position that will allow you to make a real contribution to patient care while developing your career within primary care.
