Job description

Dispensary Pharmacy Support Worker roles are based within our purpose-built pharmacy department at Maghull Health Park and supporting our in‑house Pharmacy at Hollins Park Hospital in Warrington., The role involves dispensing various types of prescriptions including controlled drugs and clozapine and involves using our new automated robotic dispensing systems including a blister pack robot to dispense medicines. Other duties include responding to dispensary supply queries, preparing for medicines deliveries.

The Medicines Management team is well-established with a track record in delivering outcomes, our pharmacy support workers are key to ensuring this happens. The service supports physical health, mental health, and community care across a large geographical footprint.

The post‑holder will be obliged to participate in our seven‑day medicines supply service in line with the hours of operation
