Responsibilities

• Assist with receipt, storage, and issue of pharmaceutical products.
• Support dispensing, labelling, and packaging of prescribed items under supervision.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure clean, safe work areas.
• Participate in treatment room top up service and process medication returns.
• Assist with preparation of pharmaceutical products and cleaning of equipment.
• Monitor stock rotation and expiry dates.
• Support waste management in line with Trust policies.
• Communicate with internal staff and external suppliers regarding stock.
• Provide a prescription portering service to treatment rooms.
• Contribute to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

The Role:

• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure a clean, safe and orderly environment in all work areas.
• Participate in the treatment room top up service and process medication returns when required.
• Assist with the preparation of pharmaceutical products and cleaning of equipment.
• Monitor stock rotation and expiry dates to support safe and efficient medicines handling.
• Support waste management in line with Trust policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal staff and external suppliers regarding stock and deliveries.
• Provide a prescription portering service to treatment rooms.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
