Overview
  • Hourly Rate: £42 per hour via Umbrella company.
  • Location: London
  • Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week (No Weekends)

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a team in London, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, particularly controlled drugs. This role involves dispensing prescriptions accurately, offering expert advice on drug interactions, and supporting patient care while upholding strict compliance with UK regulations.

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Dispensing: Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions, including controlled drugs, in compliance with UK regulations. Provide clear and professional communication with patients regarding medication instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of prescriptions to identify and resolve potential issues, such as contraindications or dosing errors. Implement and uphold best practices for patient safety and pharmacy operations.
  • Technology: Utilise pharmacy software to manage patient records, process prescriptions, and monitor inventory. Stay updated on emerging technologies in telepharmacy and incorporate them into daily practice.
  • Environmental Control: Follow COSHH regulations at all times, recognise and handle hazardous goods, and maintain the appearance of the pharmacy through regular and effective housekeeping procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Pharmacy Qualification and registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
