About the role

As a Pharmacist with us you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care, it’s more than dispensing medicine, it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

• Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
• Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
• Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
• Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount
• Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services

What you’ll need to have

To be successful in this role you will have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help us change for the better. In addition you will:

• Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
• Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
• Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
• Be collaborative with a team-centered approach
• Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
• Be a great communicator; able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of our customers and patients

We are recruiting for a Pharmacist to join us in our Gosport store, PO13 9SP.

You will be working in an exceptionally well run store, which does approx. 1100 items per week and offers all national core services. The store is a crucial part of the local community and is made up of a fully staffed team which includes a store manager and pharmacy technician. A pharmacist who wants to grow their career and provide services will definitely thrive in this environment.

This will be a full time contract which includes a paid lunch break. The store is based in a lovely city setting with excellent public transport access.
