Jollyes Pets in Dundee is recruiting a Store Manager to lead daily store operations with a hands-on approach. You will coach a team, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive sales while controlling costs to maximise turnover and margin.

The role requires setting the standard through what you do, not words, with responsibility for people, standards, and financial performance. A passion for pets and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for pets and people.
• Hands-on retail store management experience.
• Commercially confident on the shop floor with upselling.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Track record of delivering KPI targets and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the shop floor, coaching your team through live customer interactions.
• Oversee deliveries and stock, and manage costs to maximise gross margin.
• Drive a strong sales culture and coach conversations that add value for customers and pets.
• Recruit, train and develop staff, set clear objectives and monitor performance.
• Ensure high standards of pet care, welfare, health & safety, and legal compliance.
• Communicate business updates and collaborate with the regional team.
