Job summary

Jollyes Pets in Dundee is seeking a Store Manager to lead a busy retail team on the shop floor, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service. You’ll manage KPIs, control costs, and coach staff to maximise turnover while maintaining high pet care standards.

The role is full-time with a 40-hour week, offering a competitive salary (£30,000–£34,000 per year) plus a bonus potential of up to £5,000, private healthcare, enhanced pension, and attractive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous retail store management experience with a hands-on approach.
• Strong customer service orientation and leadership.
• Ability to coach and develop a team for growth.
• Clear communication of objectives and expectations.
• Track record of improving store performance and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a positive store culture.
• Own the day-to-day running of the store and manage KPIs.
• Coach the team to upsell and improve basket value.
• Ensure exceptional pet care and customer service standards.
• Recruit, train and develop staff; manage performance.
• Communicate key updates and store goals to the team.
• Stay hands-on on the shop floor; not office-based.
