The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor with expertise in Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Serious/Catastrophic Injury to join this growing firm. The role will see you managing a varied caseload of complex, multi-track matters valued between £100k to multi-millions. While the primary focus is on EL/PL and serious injury claims, there is also the potential to gain exposure to clinical negligence work, providing a unique opportunity for those looking to broaden their expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of high-value, multi-track claims, including serious/catastrophic injury and EL/PL matters.
• Working on claims valued between £100,000 and multi-million-pound settlements.
• Engaging with clients, experts, and insurers to ensure successful outcomes in complex and sensitive cases.
• Collaborating with a team of experienced solicitors and support staff to deliver high standards of client care.
• Opportunity to gain experience in clinical negligence matters.
• Attending court hearings, mediations, and settlement meetings as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in personal injury law, with a focus on serious/catastrophic injury and EL/PL claims.
• Extensive experience handling multi-track claims with significant value, ideally in the £100k to multi-million range.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law and the ability to manage complex legal issues.
• Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to engage with clinical negligence work (advantageous but not essential).
