FEMALE Personal Assistant

Hours of Work

4 hours per week, to be worked flexibly. The exact working hours will be discussed at the interview stage with the prospective employer.

Location

Padgate/Fearnhead area of Warrington, Cheshire

Rate of Pay

£12.60 per hour

Role Overview

A female Personal Care Assistant is required to provide personal and practical support to enable a disabled lady to live independently and socially, both at home and in the community.

Main Duties Include
  • Support with personal care tasks (may include assistance with bathing, but primarily being present while the lady showers)
  • Support with meal preparation and cooking
  • Assistance with household tasks (laundry, cleaning, changing bedding, etc.)
  • Support during social and leisure activities
Requirements
  • Car driver essential – The lady has a Motability vehicle which she drives herself but may occasionally require the assistant to drive.
  • Applicants must be aged 21 or over, due to insurance requirements under the Motability scheme.
Additional Information
  • A probationary period will apply.
  • The successful applicant will be required to complete (free of charge) an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
