This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social activities and wants to make a positive impact on someone’s life by helping them gain confidence and independence.

Key responsibilities
  • Accompany her on outings such as theatre, cinema, live music events, restaurants and cafés, shopping trips, gym and other fitness activities
  • Encourage and support social interactions in various settings
  • Provide gentle guidance and reassurance to help build independence
  • Ensure her safety and well‑being during outings
  • Be a friendly and supportive companion
Required skills and experience
  • Friendly, patient and understanding personality
  • Experience or interest in working with individuals with learning disabilities (preferred but not essential)
  • Reliable and able to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends)
  • Ability to encourage and support social development
  • A driver with access to a car
