Job Summary

We are looking for a kind, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to support our 26-year-old female client with a brain injury, currently living at home with her family.

Our client is fun-loving, sociable, and enjoys an active and varied lifestyle.

We are looking for someone to support our client in her journey to independence.

She enjoys horse riding, getting creative with arts and crafts, and heading out for a good shopping trip (busy places can be overwhelming, so shopping at quieter times is ideal).

She loves being out and about in the community, catching up over a coffee or a meal, and also enjoys cooking at home (as long as this doesn’t include cauliflower, lettuce, bacon or sausages!).

She’s very sociable and loves bingo, karaoke, and a good party — especially with her favourite 80s music playing!

When it’s time to relax, she enjoys reading her favourite books (Hungry Caterpillar and Room on the Broom) or watching a mix of TV shows and films (Spirit and Hartland, Christmas movies and Marvel films). Family means the world to her, and she really values spending quality time with the people closest to her. You will need to be sensitive to busy the home environment.

She also enjoys a bit of pampering and self-care.

Our client would benefit from someone who is consistent and reliable, she does not like last-minute changes. You will need to be calm and patient, she dislikes shouting and bullying.

If you are someone who enjoys helping others live life to the fullest and would like to support our client to do the things she loves, we would love to hear from you.

Experience in a care and/or support role is required.

The right personality and attitude are also important.
