Qualifications

• Good standard of secondary education as a minimum (English Language and Mathematics or equivalent experience).
• NVQ 2 in operating department practice or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in healthcare in an acute environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to registered staff with the perioperative care of all patients.
• Use information regarding resources to support the delivery of perioperative care.
• Deliver direct patient care in a manner sensitive to individual patient needs.

Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Education
