Job summary

An educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a People Services Director to lead its HR initiatives starting in January. What You'll Do:
  • Lead with purpose: Take ownership of the HR agenda, covering recruitment, talent development, performance, payroll, and compliance.
  • Drive transformation: Promote operational excellence and lead the charge on digital innovation.
  • Prioritise wellbeing: Foster an environment where colleagues feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.
  • Influence at a strategic level: Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver an impactful People Strategy.
  • Demonstrate impact: Oversee budgets and present key people metrics to the Corporation Board.
  • Champion inclusion: Ensure diversity, equity, and belonging are embedded throughout the College experience.
What You'll Bring:
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) and substantial senior HR leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, safeguarding, and HR best practice.
  • A proven ability to deliver organisational change and engagement initiatives.
  • Excellent influencing skills and the confidence to lead across all levels.
  • Experience driving digital HR transformation and working across multiple sites.
  • Understanding of governance and reporting requirements within education or public sector environments.
