As a People Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the People & Culture team across a variety of administrative and operational HR activities. Reporting into the Head of People & Culture and working closely with the People & Talent Partners, you'll help deliver a seamless employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, HR administration, and employee engagement.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including reviewing CVs, scheduling interviews, and maintaining accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Manage pre‑employment checks, right‑to‑work documentation, and reference processes.
- Own the onboarding process— from preparing offer letters and contracts to system setup and supporting induction sessions.
HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Provide administrative support to the People Partners and wider HR team.
Payroll Support
- Assist in collating and verifying payroll data to ensure accurate and timely monthly submissions.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring all procedures align with company policies.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential data in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Produce and analyse HR metrics and reports to identify trends and support business decisions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Support policy implementation and assist with grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- Help drive engagement initiatives, including employee surveys and follow‑up action plans.

- Respond to employee benefit queries and maintain up‑to‑date records of entitlements.
General HR Support
- Contribute to ad hoc HR projects and provide general administrative support as required.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in an entry‑level HR or People role.
- Basic understanding of UK employment law.
- Commercial awareness with a pragmatic approach to HR solutions.
- Highly organised and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
- Confident using Excel and HRIS systems.
- A proactive self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
