A leading company in the Public Sector is seeking a User Experience Designer based in the UK. This role involves designing user-centric interfaces using Pega systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to accessibility standards. Requirements:Must be based in the UK & be able to pass SC-level clearance in the UK
Design and prototype user-centric interfaces using Pega’s UX and App Studio tools (e.g., Cosmos, Theme UI-Kit).
Translate business and functional requirements into design workflows, wireframes, mockups, and UI specifications.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to validate design decisions.
Collaborate with Pega developers to ensure UI designs are feasible and implemented accurately.
Optimize existing screens and workflows for improved usability and accessibility.
Ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 or above).
Continuously improve Pega user experiences based on user feedback and analytics.
Stay current with best practices in UX/UI design and Pega design system updates.
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of UX design experience, with at least 1–2 years working with PegaSystems.
Proven experience with Pega design tools and methodologies (e.g., Pega App Studio, Cosmos, DX API).
Strong understanding of design principles, UX patterns, and responsive design.
Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Pega Certified UX Designer or CSA (Certified System Architect) certification.
Experience designing enterprise-level applications or case management systems.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
