PEGASYSTEMS User Experience Designer - MUST HAVE UK RESIDENCE and be eligible for SC clearance

Location:Various locations around UK

Requirements:Must be based in the UK & be able to pass SC-level clearance in the UK

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user-centric interfaces using Pega’s UX and App Studio tools (e.g., Cosmos, Theme UI-Kit).

• Translate business and functional requirements into design workflows, wireframes, mockups, and UI specifications.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to validate design decisions.

• Collaborate with Pega developers to ensure UI designs are feasible and implemented accurately.

• Optimize existing screens and workflows for improved usability and accessibility.

• Ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 or above).

• Continuously improve Pega user experiences based on user feedback and analytics.

• Stay current with best practices in UX/UI design and Pega design system updates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3+ years of UX design experience, with at least 1–2 years working with PegaSystems.

• Proven experience with Pega design tools and methodologies (e.g., Pega App Studio, Cosmos, DX API).

• Strong understanding of design principles, UX patterns, and responsive design.

• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pega Certified UX Designer or CSA (Certified System Architect) certification.

• Experience designing enterprise-level applications or case management systems.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
