PE Teacher - St Albans, Hertfordshire

Tradewind are proud to continue a great working relationship with a Community lead Faith school on the outskirts of St Albans who are looking for a PE to support with Girls PE from January 2026. This is a full time role offered on a long term to permanent basis.

This Secondary school boats great facilities and pupils who LOVE their sport and PE lessons and has a strong reputation for extra-curricular sport.

As a PE Teacher, you'll deliver both practical and theory-based PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, promoting an positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

Key Duties:
  • Plan and teach practical and theory PE lessons across KS3/4
  • Encourage a culture of health, sporting values and active achievement
  • Lead extra-curricular clubs, fixtures, and inter‑school competitions/event
Desirable Skills:
  • Relevant Sports/PE Qualification and/or QTS (desirable)
  • Experience teaching PE within Secondary Schools (essential)
  • Specialist coaching qualifications in one or more sports (advantageous)
Working with Tradewind:
  • The expectation of a permanent contract for July 2026
