PE Teacher – North Somerset

ANZUK Education are seeking a driven PE Teacher to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school in North Somerset. With excellent transport links, the school is easily accessible from surrounding areas.

The Role as PE Teacher
  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting the curriculum's big ideas
  • Teach GCSE-level OCR Sport Studies and Sport Science, helping students build toward examination success
  • Lead and motivate students in both curricular and house-based sporting competitions, enriching school life
  • Emphasise student health, well-being, and teamwork, integrating mental health awareness alongside physical activity
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular sport
  • Promote health, fitness, and teamwork in and beyond the classroom
The Ideal PE Teacher Candidate
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) experienced in delivering KS3 and KS4 PE.
  • Someone passionate about inclusive education, fitness, and student development both inside and outside the classroom.
  • A dynamic professional with excellent classroom management and communication skills, eager to contribute to a collaborative school ethos.
