A healthcare provider network in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join their multi-disciplinary team. The role involves supporting clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care across multiple locations. Morley and District Primary Care network have an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare assistant to join our team.The Health Care Assistant (HCA) plays a vital role withinprimary care, supporting the clinical team in delivering high-quality patientcare.
The role would be working across multi sites. e.g. different practice each day.
To assist the practice clinical team in the provision anddelivery of high quality patient care. Undertaking clinical work and relatedtasks as delegated by the practice nurses or GPs following appropriate trainingand assessment of competency.
To work as part of the Nursing team and strictly inaccordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols.
To assist the Practice Nurses in the annual reviews forpatients on the practice register for Diabetes, Chronic Obstructive PulmonaryDisease (COPD), Asthma, Chronic Heart Disease, Chronic Kidney disease, IschemicHeart Disease, Hypothyroidism, Mental Health and Hypertensive Disease.
To assist in the smooth running of clinics ensuring allnecessary equipment and stock is available and high quality standards ofinfection control are maintained.

Assisting in Minor Surgery/Women's Health Clinics
Blood pressures and ECG's
Chaperoning
Administering Flu and B12 injections under a PatientSpecific Directive
We are a 6 practice PCN with approximately 65,000 patients.We are rapidly developing our multi-disciplinary workforce, embedding ourroles, developing our team that makes a real difference to our patients and ourpractices.
The successful applicant will work within 6 Gp practices.
The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high quality andcompassionate care to patients. They will have the understanding and abilityto deliver delegated care under the direction of their supervisor, and supportthe multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high quality care.
The post holder will carry out well-defined routine dutiesin accordance with the individual's care plan, promote independence and checkon the individual's overall progress, comfort and wellbeing.
