Job summary

A payroll solution provider based in Rochford is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to manage end-to-end payroll duties. Candidates should have at least 18 months of payroll experience, preferably within a bureau or accountancy practice. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, processing payrolls, calculating pensions, and maintaining client files with strong organisational and accountancy software skills required.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 months experience in a payroll position.
  • Experience in internal payroll bureau or accountancy practice preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with end-to-end payroll duties and related queries.
  • Liaise with clients to process their payrolls accurately.
  • Calculate and upload pensions.
  • Process new starters, leavers and changes to personal details.
  • Maintain client files and respond to client queries.
  • Process all paperwork as per client requirements.
  • Set up new clients and validate data.

Job description

As the Payroll Supervisor you will be dealing with end-to-end payroll duties and related queries on software such as Moneysoft, Xero and Sage. You will be processing weekly and monthly payrolls, uploading payslips and monitoring a central inbox.

Other duties include:

  • Liaising with clients to accurately process their payrolls
  • Calculating and uploading pensions
  • Processing new starters, leavers and changes to personal details
  • Maintaining client files and responding to client queries within pre-agreed deadlines
  • Processing all paperwork, including printing and posting payslips and P45s in line with client requirements
  • Setting up new clients, including data validation, implementing system parameters, loading YTD data and checking PAYE/NI/Pension calculations
  • Other ad hoc duties

To apply for this Payroll Admin role, you will need at least 18 months experience in a previous payroll position, preferably internal payroll bureau or Accountancy practice.

You will also require the following:

  • Managed service experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Accountancy software experience (e.g. Sage/Xero) preferable.
