Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of end to end payroll experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with HMRC requirements and payroll legislation.
  • Strong communication skills are a must for client and team interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for clients.
  • Prepare and process payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Handle client queries related to payroll, PAYE, and NIC.
  • Prepare BACS payments for each client's pay-date.

Puro Associates are partnering with a leading Accountancy Practice who are recruiting a Payroll Supervisor to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to get into a professional and growing firm who can offer great training and progression moving forward!

The Role
  • End-to-end Payroll
  • Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Answering routine client queries regarding payroll, PAYE, NIC, and escalating more complex queries to supervisors, or responding with their assistance, as appropriate
  • Completing paperwork on behalf of clients with regard to PAYE, NIC or any other query.
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Liaising with other teams regarding client payrolls as appropriate
  • Preparing BACS payments for each individual client’s pay-date including BACS remittance payments as appropriate.
You
  • End to end payroll experience in a similar role (minimum 2 year)
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation / HMRC requirements
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Accurate, methodical and organised
  • Good IT skills, experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and Sage
