Interim Payroll and Finance Assistant – Scunthorpe – Up to £29,000 FTE

We are proud to be supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe who are looking for an experienced Payroll and Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave for a 9-12 month contract. You will be responsible for the weekly payroll and maintaining relationships both internally and externally. The role is 30 hours a week.

Payroll and Finance Assistant duties include:
  • Weekly payroll processing for 100 employees through people HR and Access workspace
  • New weekly employee onboarding and processing any leavers
  • Cover all the HR admin and keep all employee records up to date
  • Cover the HR mailbox and answer any queries
  • Purchase ledger invoice processing
  • Processing euro invoices in line with HMRC guidelines for all sites
  • General admin tasks and cover for other accounts duties
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accurate and strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
