A patient transport services provider in Oxford is looking for a Patient Transport Liaison Officer (PTLO) to support collaboration between hospitals and operational teams. The role involves planning transport logistics, maintaining patient flow, and managing inquiries. Ideal candidates have experience in healthcare settings, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care. Offering £13.50 per hour, this permanent role covers 37.5 hours weekly from Thursday to Wednesday with various benefits including life assurance and access to healthcare consultations.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Transport Liaison Officer (PTLO) to join our team based at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Full time, Permanent 6 days covering Thursday to Wednesday then the same time off (08:00 – 20:00) 37.5 hr week.
The PTLO position is key to help bridge the gap between hospitals and our operations team on a daily basis. You will be integrated within the flow room and involved in site and bed meetings to understand demands placed upon the hospital.
You will be the point of contact for escalation for your designated trust if they fall into a bed crisis, patient’s queries, risk assessments among other things. You will be the point of contact between bed managers and EMED managers. The role will provide assistance with patient flows in the hospital environment.
