A market-leading firm with a global client base across life sciences and technology is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate to join their highly respected IP practice. About the Role

The firm is looking to recruit a Patent Litigation Associate (1–3 PQE) to work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes. This role offers high levels of responsibility from day one, exposure to cutting‑edge matters across life sciences and technology, and the opportunity to develop both legal expertise and broader commercial skills within a supportive, development‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a wide range of patent disputes, including infringement, validity, SPCs, ownership, exhaustion of rights and employee compensation matters
  • Support and, where appropriate, lead elements of large-scale, international patent litigation matters
  • Collaborate with colleagues across regulatory, competition and commercial disputes teams on cross-disciplinary issues
  • Assist with licensing disputes, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution processes
  • Manage key workstreams, draft pleadings and correspondence, and contribute to strategic case planning
  • Engage in business development, client relationship management and thought leadership activities
  • Contribute to knowledge management and support/mentor junior team members where appropriate
