Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Parts Team and customers.

Do you have a keen eye for detail? Do you have lots of energy and are motivated?

Would you like to join us in our brand new re-fitted “Part Department.” One of our superstars based at HQ Thatcham is going on maternity leave so are you available?

Have you become part of the furniture and are in need of a change? This position will initially be for 9 months. As we are a forward-thinking company that invest in our employees and due to expansion, we feel that we may be in a position at the end of the 9 months to extended or even create a permanent position... As we are constantly growing here!

Can you spot parts like a pro?

We need your forward thinking and skills to complete quotations to repair our customers forklift trucks, identify parts, liaise with our suppliers and support the other members of the team. Because we are independent every challenge is new and different. The parts department is a key part of our business that facilitates and aids our Service and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities
  • To work alongside the Parts Team and our amazing customers.
  • Contacting our customers to get their approval on quotations sent for repairs.
  • Liaising with the Parts Manager to help and support our busy team.
  • Get quotations from our suppliers.
  • Identify parts for the many forklifts we work on.
  • Work in a busy and fast-paced department.
  • Able to plan and organise work.
  • 8am - 5pm Mon-Thurs (with 1 hour lunch) and 8am - 4:30pm Fri (with half an hour lunch).
  • Temporary 9 month maternity cover with possible extension / permanent position.
  • Immediate start and all training will be provided.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Candidates with experience in Material Handling / plant / equipment hire preferred; candidates with relevant parts experience from any background will be considered.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Competency with use of Microsoft & data systems
