Jaxdene Solutions is currently recruiting for a Permanent Parts Manager on behalf of our client, a reputable private company specialising in agricultural services. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing a busy parts operation based in Norfolk on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for managing a small parts team and ensure their customer receive prompt and efficient support for their parts requirements. Working for my client, you'll be part of a highly driven team and share our ambition of becoming the best dealer within our field.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the busy daily parts business from the depot
  • Supervising and supporting the stores team
  • Assisting customers with parts identification and supply
  • Managing stock control through our computerised system
  • Purchasing stock and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Supporting management reporting and decision-making
  • Ensuring the parts department operates efficiently and professionally
  • Working flexibly during peak periods (September-February)
Qualifications

Ideally you will have at least 2 years' experience within the Agriculture or Farming sector and have a sound understanding of agricultural machinery in general. You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times, along with a positive can-do attitude. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as in a team environment, be flexible with regards to working seasonal overtime and some unsociable hours, as well as have sound time management and administration skills
