Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a family run business to bring you this delivery driver position based in Leeds. This is a full time role which you’ll work Monday to Friday, completing 8.5-hours per day between 7:00am and 6:00pm plus alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am–1:00pm). Salary basic starts at £28,571.40k with the option to develop and further progress within the business.

Job Duties Include:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations
• Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to traffic regulations
• Load and unload products efficiently and safely
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules
• Assist in warehouse duties when required
• Handle heavy lifting as necessary
• Uphold company standards for customer service during deliveries

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations
• Ability to lift heavy packages safely
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
