Overview

In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Partnership Development Manager to bring fresh insights and expertise to our P&O Cruises sales department. The area this role will cover will be either Scotland and Northern Ireland or the North of England and the Midlands. The P&O Cruises Sales team helps P&O Cruises become Britain's #1 holiday choice by delivering the very best guest experience and a seamless journey from booking onward. As Partnerships Development Manager you will provide account management support for a defined portfolio of development travel agent partners, to develop revenue streams and maximise all business opportunities within those agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively seek, evaluate and build new partnership opportunities to broaden the distribution model for P&O Cruises.
  • Develop and monitor tactical sales plans to meet profit targets, and ensure the delivery of these plans.
  • Manage monthly budget reconciliation process, including overseeing accruals and forecasts for defined agencies. This role requires extensive UK and overseas travel and a full UK driving license.
  • Collaborate with partners to optimise performance and revenue opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in a sales environment and account management, preferably within travel or the cruise sector.
  • Experience in marketing, especially direct mail, press or online.
  • Proven track record in delivering return on spend and achieving targets.
  • Trade relationship management.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Seniorité & Location

This role is positioned at CUK08 level and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We have two regions available, so travel across Scotland and Northern Ireland OR travel across the North of England and the Midlands will be required to meet with clients in your portfolio.
