Job summary

A leading health and social care provider in England is seeking individuals to provide support to adults, helping them enhance their independent living skills. Candidates will assist with community activities, health appointments, and manage personal budgets. Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism is preferable but not essential.

Job Introduction

This position does not meet the requirements for sponsorship under current UK immigration guidelines. This is a 24‑hour service, therefore we can be flexible to meet your preferences where possible. A good work/life balance is important to us all and we do require people to take their share of working weekend and evenings. We have short days, long days and sleep‑ins available but not an essential requirement. Our rota is published 8 weeks in advance so you can plan your life too!

About the role

Can you see yourself providing support to adults and helping them improve their independent living skills and lead a meaningful and active life? You will be encouraging the people we support to live life to their full potential. This will include a variety of community activities, promoting and developing their daily living skills, supporting with medication and health appointments, and supporting to manage their personal budgets.

Whilst knowledge of learning disabilities or autism may be beneficial, it isn't essential. We have great mentors with a wealth of experience.
