Homes for Students is seeking a part‑time Resident Services Assistant at Polhill Park in Bedford. You will provide a cheerful meet-and-greet service, support reception tasks, and assist the operations team with daily admin duties.

The role runs 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 6.00pm, delivering high standards of customer care to students and visitors. Ideal candidates will have strong IT skills, a friendly approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment

Qualifikationen

• Exceptional customer service skills with a patient, helpful attitude.
• Experience using Microsoft Office software and basic IT literacy.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a busy environment.
• Adept at presenting information accurately, professionally and clearly.
• Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with/without supervision.
• Team player who can be flexible in a small team setting.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable and beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Greet and assist students and visitors with a warm, friendly reception.
• Provide reception support and help desk assistance, handling inquiries by email, phone and in person.
• Support back‑office admin tasks for operations and the General Manager.
• Assist with open days, intake days and departures, and daily student/visitor interactions.
• Address and resolve complaints promptly, delivering excellent customer care.
• Maintain strong IT and communication skills to support students and staff.
