Homes for Students at Newarke Point in Leicester is seeking a Residence Services Assistant to join the team on a 40-hour rota. You will deliver cheerful reception services, handle inquiries and provide essential back-office support to ensure a seamless student experience.

You will respond to student questions via email, phone, or in person, assist with open days and arrivals, and help the operations team maintain high standards of service in a busy student accommodation environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a patient, helpful attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to stay organised in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in presenting information clearly and professionally.
• Experience handling multiple tasks and prioritising workload without close supervision.
• Team player with a flexible approach; customer service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, friendly meet and greet, reception support and help desk assistance.
• Provide administrative support to the operations team and General Manager.
• Support open days, intake days and departures, and assist students, visitors and external contacts.
• Respond to student inquiries via email, website, telephone and in person with accurate information.
• Maintain high standards of customer care and act as a role model for service delivery.
