Job description

Overview

A Part-time Nanny is sought by a family based in Barnet, Hertfordshire to care for a toddler and two school-aged children. The role involves general nanny duties. The family is open to a Live-in Nanny and values a warm, kind, and fun caregiver who is reliable, flexible, and happy to travel. Travel may include trips to Europe and the USA for one to two weeks, including abroad during school holidays.

First-aid qualification is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings (e.g., park visits)
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organized, and tidy
• Taking care of the children's laundry
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid first-aid qualification
• Reliable, flexible and capable of travel with the family (Europe and the USA for one to two weeks)
• Willingness to work during school holidays; part-time availability on specified days

Schedule

Working hours: Monday, Thursday, and Friday: 3:00 pm to 7:30/8:00 pm; Sunday: 9:00 am to 7:30 pm. Holiday hours (including bank holidays): Full week: 9:00 am to 8:30 pm.
