Job description

This lovely family based in New Malden, London, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to maintain their house organised while taking care of their 2 school-aged children. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who enjoys organising and can anticipate the needs of a busy family. Being comfortable around dogs and animals is a must. Must be happy to walk 15 minutes to school and walk the dog regardless of the weather. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Thursday, 9:30 am until 5:30 pm. Friday (Flexible, approx. 2 to 4 hours)

Responsibilities

• Proactive organising of communal areas, playrooms, and bedrooms to ensure the house is neat and clutter‑free.
• Laundry & Ironing: Managing the family laundry cycle, including washing, hanging, folding, and ironing.
• Deep Cleaning/Upkeep: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in key areas (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.).
• Pet Care: Walking the family dog on Thursdays.

Childcare (Thursdays Only)

• School Pick-up: Walking to the local school (approx. 15-minute walk each way) to collect the children.
• Meal Prep: Preparing healthy, simple dinners for the children.
• Supervision: Overseeing the children after school until the parents finish work.
