Job description

This lovely family based in New Malden, London, is looking for a Part‑time Nanny‑Housekeeper to maintain their house organised while taking care of their 2 school‑aged children. All general Nanny‑Housekeeping duties are required in this role.

Ideal candidate must be a self‑starter who enjoys organising and can anticipate the needs of a busy family. Must be comfortable around dogs and animals. Must be happy to walk 15 minutes to school and walk the dog regardless of the weather. A valid first‑aid qualification is required.

Working Hours

Thursday: 9:30 am until 5:30 pm. Friday: flexible, approximately 2 to 4 hours.

Duties

• Proactive organising of communal areas, playrooms, and bedrooms to ensure the house is neat and clutter‑free.
• Laundry & ironing: Managing the family laundry cycle, including washing, hanging, folding, and ironing.
• Deep cleaning/upkeep: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in key areas (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.).
• Pet care: Walking the family dog on Thursdays.

Childcare (Thursdays only)

• School pick‑up: Walking to the local school (approx. 15‑minute walk each way) to collect the children.
• Meal prep: Preparing healthy, simple dinners for the children.
• Supervision: Overseeing the children after school until the parents finish work.
