Overview
Home Instead is currently seeking a MALE Support Worker in Burton Latimer.
You will be required to provide support to help the client remain as independent as possible in their own home and out in the community.
Responsibilities
- Help with everyday activities. The Client enjoys getting out & about throughout the day.
- Assist with life skills such as cooking and domestic duties.
- Provide support in the community and help to access activities they enjoy.
- Ensure they are safe within their home and the wider community.
- Be someone they can rely on and a good companion.
- This is an exciting opportunity and includes the chance to develop and gain new skills and knowledge.
- The client enjoys being outdoors and gardening, so the love of the outdoors would be an advantage.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Required: Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Willing to operate client\'s vehicle.

- Qualifications: To have experience of challenging behaviour is preferred and a willingness to learn how to manage this client\'s needs is a must. However, no specific care experience is required as we offer full training on orientation.

- The position will be: Monday 17:30 - 22:00; Thursday 17:00 - 22:00; Friday 08:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00; Sunday 16:00 - 22:00.
