Southwark - Part‑time English Teacher

Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part‑time English Teacher to join one of our valued partner schools in Southwark. This is a 3‑day-per‑week role, starting in January, with the possibility of an extension into September 2026.

You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 & 4, delivering engaging and well‑structured lessons that support literacy development and inspire a love of English Language and Literature. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high‑quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute positively to the collaborative ethos of the English department.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4 (ECTs welcome)
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for English education
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student well‑being
