Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare in Street is seeking a part-time Funeral Arranger to support families and manage funeral arrangements. You’ll work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 1pm-4pm, ensuring a professional and comforting environment for clients and their loved ones.

Qualifications

• No prior funeral industry experience required; full training provided.
• Comfortable with physical handling of coffins and deceased care.
• Capable of cash handling, basic data entry and invoicing.
• Good communication with clients and colleagues, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone; arrange family visits.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming; report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work, like funeral plans, to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist with manual handling and care of the deceased for viewing.
• Update client management applications with timely records.
