Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare in Rugby is seeking a Funeral Arranger for a part-time role (18.75 hours/week, 1pm–5pm, Monday–Friday). The position offers £13.47 per hour plus benefits, including a competitive pension and staff discounts.

Full training and ongoing support are provided, so no prior funeral industry experience is required. You will assist families with arrangements, manage client documentation, and ensure a compassionate, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with clients and colleagues, in writing and verbally.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and cash handling.
• Attention to regulatory policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming, reporting maintenance issues.
