Job summary

Co-op Group Funeralcare in Street, BA16 0NH, is hiring a Funeral Arranger at £13.47 per hour. Part-time 15 hours/week, Monday to Friday 1pm-4pm. No CV needed. Role involves sensitive responsibilities with professional training provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, written and spoken.
• Ability to do basic cash handling and data entry.
• High attention to detail and adherence to policies.
• Proficient with common IT devices and software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and by phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming, and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work, like selling funeral plans, to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist in the care and preparation of the deceased (moving, prep, viewing).
• Update client records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
