Co-op Funeralcare in London is recruiting for a part-time role working 20 hours per week, Mon–Wed, 9am–5pm. The position offers £15.22 per hour plus London Allowance and benefits. Training is provided, with full pension and other discounts available.

The duties include client support, preparing and transporting the deceased, and maintaining a respectful, safe funeral home environment. Candidates should be comfortable with physical tasks and direct contact with the deceased.

Formación

• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with clients and colleagues in writing and verbally.
• Able to work with numbers, handle cash, perform basic calculations and invoicing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with regulatory policies and processes.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new applications and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arrange family visits and answer questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming, and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work, like funeral plans, to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and care of the deceased as needed.
• Update client management applications with accurate information.
