Job summary

Nationwide in Camberley is seeking a Customer Representative to support customers in branch, over the phone and online. You’ll assist with everyday transactions, answer queries, and guide customers towards banking services and digital tools that make managing money easier.

The role is permanent, part-time (21 hours per week, Monday to Saturday). You’ll be within a 45-minute commute, with training and opportunities to grow in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No banking experience required, but customer service experience helps.
• Comfortable helping customers face to face, over the phone and via digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering trusted, friendly help with their banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, while keeping customer needs, security and fairness front of mind.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that are right for them, helping them manage their money with confidence.
• Work closely with colleagues in a busy branch environment, supporting one another to deliver excellent customer service.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns as needed to protect customers and Nationwide.
• Keep face to face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street.
