Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a part-time Customer Representative in Wareham, Dorset, to support customers in branch, by phone, and online. The role emphasises delivering trusted guidance and a high level of service across banking moments and digital tools.

You’ll work 21 hours per week, with training to set you up for success. The team balances in-branch and telephone support on closure days, maintaining a strong community presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful but banking-specific experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, while keeping security and fairness in mind.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that are right for them, helping manage their money with confidence.
• Work closely with colleagues in a busy branch, supporting one another to deliver excellent customer service.
• Follow processes, spot potential issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
